    Default Returning to Roma.

Hello all, I have decided to return to RTW after many long years, I have played ETW and NTW these games never really thrilled me in the same way as Rome did when I was younger, I have always enjoyed leading the romans to victory over the vast Barbarian hordes. I have since matured and was wondering for some one that has not played RTW in over 5 years at least what can this game offer me in terms of, history, unit accuracy, and realism of battles.

P.S Has Rome been renamed Roma, this always niggled me.

Its a great game, check the stickied threads for the details, but if your a Rome player, your gonna love it. Numbered Legions, Auxilia, the whole ball of wax.... being a older game, it has some annoying things, but the RS Team worked miracles and pulled the best performance outta an old game that one could. Simply awesome

I still prefer RSI for its glorious campaign map. I have ported over both the new RSII unit skins and buildings, so the only things I miss from RSII are the scripted characters/rebellions and the four turn per year submod.

I would certaily suggest you try them both!

Fixed as your post made no sense whatsoever, RSI map is inferior to RS IIs one.

This mod is worth it. I have M2TW and Empire TW and I still have fun playing RSII and some other mods for RTW.
