Battle positioning?

Hey!
I downloaded the 1.4.4 full torrent, copy-pasted the Call_of_Warhammer folder to Medieval/mods directory, deleted all the _water files as requested, UAC off, administrator mode on and so on...
I wanted to try a custom battle, ok, i've chosen the units...
BUT I CANT POSITION THEM!
I have to move each unit seperately, I can't change the unit depth by mouse, I cant just drag and drop them on the battlefield, I can only rotate them... Is something corrupted in the download?
This problem is only in CoW, in SS 6.4 everything works fine.

Make sure when you group units together, you select a formation. Otherwise they'll maintain their exact shape.
