I think only you can know that. That is an interesting idea, and I know it is one Derpy uses, would it be like a sequel, or a separate event?

And the CW piece sounds great, I'd love to see how you'll pull it off.

Hehe I use Fraps, however I don't record the battles - instead I just launch my game, and press a hot-key to take a picture using Fraps (mine is F10), this allows you to pause the game, and find a good angle to take the picture, and once you're happy you just press a key. Another bonus is that is saves them in a folder of your choice. After which I do a bit of cropping then upload them to Photobucket, apply some edits - and that is me done. Also you can quickly take multiple screenshots and then pick the best one later if you get caught up in the action.

Hope this help. If you have any-more questions please ask, I'm sure the regulars will try and help you out.

Don't you have to pay for Fraps?

I think I have a Flickr account, but I don't remember any of the information for it, so I just use private Facebook albums. I ought to just make a new Flickr/Photobucket account.

The version I use is free, of course you can only take photos and only in the Bitmap file format, but that doesn't both me. If you want to be able to do videos, save in JPEG and the likes I believe you need to buy the full version.

Well, since I reinstalled R:TW and M2:TW on this newish PC I've been going about getting all my old mods, so maybe. I'd want to do something more unique, like my original AAR where I recreated Hannibal's march across the Alps in Roma Surrectum. Good times. Maybe a restart of that concept is in order?

When you pause the game the giant 'PAUSED' thing pops up and covers the middle of the screen, if there was a way to remove that it'd be half the battle. Thanks for the input.

You can hold down Shift while clicking on the time speed buttons and it wil only increase in fractions. For example if you have paused the game then press and hold Shift while clicking the time speed up instead of going to 1 it will go to .1, .2 and so on

    Wierd isn't it.

But on the screenshots thingy. Doesn't the Steam screenshots allow you to do almost all the same? You can just pause and find the angle you want and press F12 and it goes straight into the library you have there . Of course, if it isn't installed on Steam I can see the problem. .

Btw, what is the purpose of a magic eightball?

Oh and check out the tale in my sig . If you enjoy it, please comment.

That sounds like a great plot for an AAR, you could make it a real story based one as well.

Ah I too have this problem, I do one of two things. I'll either work my way around it by changing the angle, and then cropping it out, or pausing and getting the shot lined up before pressing play and then quickly taking the picture. Of course what Scottish King said is probably a better way to do it.

Yes the same is true for Steam, although I've never really done it like that.

And the purpose of a magic eight ball... jeeze where to I begin. You bascially ask it questions, and it will give you an answer, which will be the truth.

And some self-advertising perhaps? Glad to see you've added CW to your sig though, everyone else get doing that!

Also, if you guys update anything CW or AAR like can you post a short blurb in the advertising thread, and now I'm PM'ing people the newsletter, people will actually see it!

Well maybe advertise it in the advertisement thread? Also, I'll get reading it out some point - hopefully the others will check it out as well.
