Ya I don't even have a job and it is still don't have as much time as I would like to finish your AAR . Still it seems a shame that the process hasn't worked out as well as I had hoped.

Many thanks to the good folks down at the Graphics Workshop for the sig.

Well, but that's no surprise, and it's my problem if anything. I still have to find an active AAR right now that gets longer than me.

But if you really read it all and make a good critique, you are going to get a lot of publicity.

    Explosive publicity, I'd say.

If it is publicity you are after then why not post an advert here?

    How is everyone anyway?

Busy. Uni has started and it's really awesome to study history! But it brings a lot of reading work along with it. Besides that, we hope to release RTR VII patch 3 this month which lays another burden on me. Still, I hope to be able to write at least two more updates for my AAR this month

But I fear that I won't be able to join any more ToTW contests the coming weeks

Would that be ok? I thought that I should wait until the next competition since I got the 2nd place in the previous one.

I won't be gone completely, just a little less productive

Did I send you the wrong answer then in the pm a while ago? I can't remember wether I said "first place can't enter" or "winners can't enter". It's a subtle difference between the two..

That's the spirit. That's exactly what I did, back when I had a living AAR, and it ended up finishing 2nd (only losing out to Radzeer in a tie breaker) even though the AAR was already on indefinite hold* by the time it went to vote. So it goes to show, anything can happen

Your anecdote has changed that "I'd consider" to "I'd probably", friendly stranger!

Hi i'm, crepe100! Recently I have started to try and write my own N:TW LME AAR, but i'm having troubles. Although I find I do not lack on the campaign side and the creative side of things (well at least I hope I don't), I find I completely lack at the battle side. I know people enjoy seeing the battle scenes in the AAR's they read so I thought why not try the battles then. Fair enough i'm alright at the battles, but i'm not the best, at all, but I usually have to fully concentrate on the battle at hand, I barely think about print screening this and that and before I know it the battle is over and the only print screen I got was of the soldiers lining up at the beginning. See the thing is I know if I start concentrating on taking pictures I will fall behind in the battle, I generally can't multitask when it comes to this.

Does anybody have any ideas or tips on how I can both complete the battle and get some good pictures as well? What I was planning on doing was custom battling the battle after I had auto-resolved it in the campaign and just print screening small battles that occurred during the custom battle, but I thought that may take some time, although if it is what must be done I will do it so.

(Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this sort of question, i'm kind of new to the whole writers study and affiliates).

I know what you mean. The solution is: Practice, pause like a maniac, practice, pause like a maniac.

Try to zoom in and out really often. Getting good pics and doing well at the battle is easy for me... just takes ages.
