Akar promises to post very soon I hope. Unless he chickens out because my piece is just too good.
It's a win-win for everyone but Akar

Fellow members of the Writers' Study! Voting has started on our Second Occasional Competition: Seedship. Go and vote for your two favourite tales!
Meanwhile we are nearing the end of the voting period for the MAARC LXXXV Second Place Tie-Breaker. If you haven't already, go and cast your vote and give some love to the MAARC gods. Thanks!

Thanks to all who entered and voted in our Second Occasional Competition! Two tales are through to a tie-break in this competition, inspired by the game Seedship, please vote!
Meanwhile, thanks to the two writers who have entered Tale of the Week 294: Battle of Trenton. I'm looking forward to seeing a third crossing of the Delaware, please enter!
I must pass muster if I am only vaguely affiliated with any entity on the list, then.
(I'm seriously tempted to borrow that nickname for appropriate posts... )
Well... what can I say? We now have three entries... so if you're thinking of joining in with this fast-moving* contest, my advice is to post your submission as soon as possible and worry about your qualifications later.
That's good advice for everyone, in fact - if you're interested in entering the current TotW, don't delay, because we now have enough entries to start the voting! (I won't start the vote today, though... so if you want a day or two extra to finish those submissions, post here, and I'll post to let you know when I'm planning to start the vote so that you know that in advance. If nobody posts to say they need extra time, I'll just get the vote started.)
*Started slow, I admit, but it's picking up speed now!
I'm aiming to put something up tonight or tomorrow

Motivation is the key on this one; the particular themes and words don't jog much for me, and it would take too long to muster the concept. No need to push out on my account, much rather interject on another one that hopefully inspires me better.
Found this...
...and I'm sure kilowolf359 is the one jumping in front!
