Multiplayer problems

When I join multiplayer, I only see 3 games that I can join, all of which are full. Is this normal? It just seems odd that such a popular game has so little multiplayer games available.

Check that you have 1.5 patch. Then if there are no games to join, simply host one. It won't take people long to join as it seems that most people just sit and wait for a game rather than hosting one.

I have Vanilla RTW, with 1.5 patch, and no matter what time of day or night I try, there's no games I can join. It shows a couple of them, but it always says "enter password" or "Unable to join game (Gamespy)" or something like that. I've tried hosting my own, I've waited over 10 minutes, and no one joins...

bottem right coner, there is three lobbies, chat lobby, friendly, and competivie, i think chat lobby has the most people in it.

Chat lobby has the least people, Friendly has the most, and I can't join any game, it says one of the following messages:

Unable to join game (GS)
Game not compatible
Enter password

I was only able to join one game, ever, and it disconnected me. What am I doing wrong? Why can't I join any multiplayer games?!

well i havent been on rtw multiplay in awhile so i forgot whcih had the most, anyways maybe you ahve a mod installed, or the last one you had is still somewhat in your rtw game, or your rtw games is :wub:.

when i play on multiplarey there are several rooms open... i dont usually have any problems getting a game.

i have exactly the same problem it just says failed to join game(GS) not more not less and almost never something else

or could it just be the changes in descr_strat.txt??

but if descr was the problem it should give no problems with bi but also whit be it just says failed to join game(GS)...(bi=barbarian invasion)
