Dear Modders,

I was wondering how important the aspect of religion will be, and whether or not the different cultural groups will also have different religions. I presume the Saxons will be christian and the vikings will have their typical pagan gods but what do the scottish and irish have and how important is it for maintaining happiness and cohesiveness of the realm?

I think the cultures replace religion.

Yes. Although religous buildings are available for construction, the Culture System replaces Religion, and works in more-or-less the same manner.

To your other point, though, the Viking cultures have thier Germanic Pagan Gods, the Celtic factions are Christian ofcourse, more specifically Insular Christian, though this will not be portrayed. The Saxons, will be Christian also.
