so i am playing portigual, and i was almost immediaty asked to join a war against france and leinster, so i agreed!

i have breached the enemy walls in leinster but i cannot assault, its greyed out!

what do i do?

never mind, i sped it up, and even with a lack of water, food, and breached walls, it took almost 500 days for them to surrender.

england was there, so i guess i cant assault the walls when an ally was there first

Yup and they can use your troops to attack the wall and vice versa when you get there 1st and allied troops come to help.
