    Default Stupid question, but...

What happened to the advisors? I'm new to this mod and the game actually. Are there no advisors with this mod? A beginner such as myself could probably benefit from them.

    Thanks

You have to have them turned off or they cause crashes.

Though you can get crashes anyway in my case.

Oh, ok. I'll live without it. Just making sure nothing was corrupted with my install or anything.

    Thanks

Far be it from me to discourage using Stainless Steel. But if you're new to M2TW all together, perhaps it'd be better to play through the vanilla tutorial and a campaign for 20 turns or so. There's (relatively) alot going on and, at first, some aspects can be overwhelming.

The advisors aren't wondrous, but if you're new they're helpful. Certainly not a necessity as many have made the jump straight to SS seamlessly, but it's always nice to get a feel for the game as originally created then go to the mod so you can see/appreciate what has been changed/fixed and have a better understanding as to why.

Either way, best of luck to you and happy gaming. These forums are helpful (almost any question you can think of has probably already been answered 20x) and its inhabitants are very knowledgeable (except for me).
