CTDs while loading battles

Title states the issue. So far, I've been unable to load up a battle without getting an unspecified error in the following scenarios:

Anytime a siege is taking place i.e. sallying, being assualted, assualting; its all impossible to load up
Bridge battles
Random battles where the aforementioned are not in place (Sometimes it works wometimes it doesn't.)

I don't know why any of this is happening.

I'm using Windows 7 64-bit without Steam.

Really its anytime I try to fight a battle. Every damn time! With an occasional success.
