What should I do? Campaign Advice!

So, I'm playing my campaign with Ireland, and have just invaded England! (MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHAA

) So before I took their last city, I decided to have mercy upon the Brits and allow them to become my protectorate state. Now, however, we have a new problem:

I'm not sure if I should step in and start a new war with the Danes after I'm just recovering my economy from the English invasion, or just let my protectorate die? Now that doesn't sound very honorable! Also, if they knock out the English, I'll have a new force to worry about on my island... Should I step in? What are your thoughts?

I think that at some point you ll have to take London?Aren't you?Puss the Danes out of your island(you ll have to tackle them at some point anyway)If you let them create a base in England then they migth ask for more...So just attack!! gather your forces from your two fortresses and with the aid of the english you ll wipe them out at no time...By the way....When in battle menu choose to take control of the english army.Lead them to their death(the english that is)and then attack the weaken forces of the danes.That way you will succesfully rollplayed as a protector while at the same time you ll weaken the english enough so as to claim London for your own with just a handfull of units...

p.s:In battle make sure that not all family members of the english die in combat because that way London will become a rebel terriority with a full stack for defence

But won't that kill of the English? London is their last region. I know it's weird, but I have an annoying pet peeve where I hate fully destroying factions

Well thats why I told you to make sure not all of their family members die..Because they ll disappear.But wait!you mean that you don't want them dead not even later.I mean you ll do it at some point.Why not now.You get the chance to use your enemies to kill your will be "ex-allies"

Hm, so even if they have no regions left but they still have family members they still survive?

Sorry if i confused you.Just what i would do.Gather an army,go outside London,attack the danes,you enter a battle with the english as your allies,tick the option "command this army in battle" next to the english army picture.Enter the battle.Sent the english to weaken the danes.Then you attack= Danes dead easily, english weaken.Give the engislh some small city as a gift.Attack the weaken london.So now the engilsh can survive in some other city and you can have london.Then just make the english your vassal again

Divide and conquer.Let the danes take london.They will have serious casualties if it is heavily defended.Then take london and "avenge" ur vassal.Then reform and attack scotland.The scandinavians should be next.When u control the british and scandinavian isles u will have a stable economy and the most safe regions in the map.Then expand wherever u want.
