    Default Barbarian Invasion

If I buy Rome Total War: Barbarian Invasion, what features does it have that differ from Rome Total War? More specifically, what features are added to the Romans themselves? Is the same graphic engine used as in Rome Total War?

It is an expansion to the game.

"It's 363 AD and a seemingly unstoppable tide of barbarian invaders is massing on the borders of a fractured Roman Empire. Choose to take control of the barbarian hordes and tear apart the world's mightiest ancient empire, or take command of massed Roman legions and change the course of history forever!
10 new playable factions including Eastern and Western Roman Empire, Huns, Goths and the Saxons.
Barbarian Hordes - If a faction loses its last settlement the entire population can move and re-settle if they can conqure a new homeland
    New campaign map
    Go HERE for more information.

It focuses on the decline of the roman empire, after it has split into western and eastern. Most of the units have changed as have the factions.

    Hope this helped

wrong forum, but on topic, personally, i was dissapointed with BI, but it adds some new things to the game, religion, being able to become a horde when down to one settlement, but again, in my opinion, it wasnt what i expected it to be

Unfortunately, no. The modders can only do so much within the limits of RTW. While BI wasn't very well done, it added a ton of features that more or less give the modders a lot more to play around with.

I think its a good game, though not very different game play to normal rtw(dont buy it if you have gotten tired of normal rtw)
Many new cool units, somehow i think that character building is more realistic.... Ehmm what to say.. Cool units!
Though not detailed ones, slavs and many more have gothic swordsman in their hordes!:@
You have a certain mentality, a "you vs them" and i know it is hard to see, but it is only your imagination which makes up enemies everywhere. I haven't professed anything but being neutral so why Do you feel the need to defend yourself from me?. Truly What are you defending? when there is nobody attacking?
