BI end date?

I mentioned this on another thread earlier today, but nobody knew: Is there an deadline to accomplish your objectives by in BI?

I see NO mention of that anywhere online, in the literature that came with BI, or anywhere. Very very curious...

Yes, there is a deadline. It is in the strat.txt file at the top.

I just looked through that whole strat.txt file...no mention of end date. Can someone please just post it? On totalwar.org they say that there is no end date....

What about this one also: what is the end date for RTW 1.5...is it unlimited after I download the "unlock all factions" mod? (did it)

edit: I found where it has the speech text that shows up when you DO fail to meet the objectives, but it doesn't say what year that occurs in. Just says that " you are not alone in your fate, the last roman emperor blah blah" .

start_date 363 summer
end_date 476 summer

well u didnt look hard enough its like the line right after the playable and noplayable factions so u have about 220 turns to the end

apologies...however even before I wrote this, after I saw your post I looked again..you know how it goes sometimes, you just can't find something.

as for end_date 476, can that be edited?
what about start_date 363?

I would think this has come up before, but it's BI, so maybe not...
