So I'm kind of confused...

What exactly is the difference, if any, between the Crown of Aragon and the Kingdom of Aragon? Which one does Stainless Steel represent?

The Kingdom of Aragon was a constituent of the larger Crown of Aragon.

Kind of like how the Kingdom of Germany was part of the HRE.

CoA is the one that's supposed to be represented.

The Crown of Aragon from my understanding is when the Kingdom of Aragon and the Kingdom of Catalonia joined together(like Castile and Leon), though I may be incorrect. Eventually the two Crowns joined into what we know as Spain(They still self-govern, however).


As for the differences between the factions, the Crown of Aragon spoke(Speaks) Catalan and Aragonese whereas Castle-Leon spoke(speaks) Castilian(What we know as "Spanish"). Gamewise Aragon gets elite badass skirmishers where Castille gets elite badass cavalry really late in the game.

Close (I think). I do believe it is when the kingdom of Aragon and the County of Barcelona made marriage alliance and the eventual male offspring (Alfonso II maybe?) then maintained the alliance of the major settlements involved jointly called the Crown of Aragon. Maybe.
