    Default Installation problem

    Hi all.
I had uninstalled M2TW gold a while ago but i would like to reinstall it. When i go to install it i click install. it loads for a second then a pop up says "All Medieval II Total War: Gold products are already installed. Aborting installlation". I looked threw my whole computer and couldint find any M2TW files. I even checked all hidden files.

a thanks would be in order for all help.

Do you know how to open the Registry? Some of the steps you need to take in that walkthrough require opening the Registry and deleting reg keys. Before you do so however you should absolutely make a Restore Point on your system. This provides a backup should you make a mistake and delete something you should not have.

For that matter - do you know how to make a Restore Point?

Just what files weren't you able to find?

    Let us know. Good luck!

You're headed in the right direction. Delete the one in Program Files (x86), too? If you did run a good registry cleaner.

    Those maybe the Kingdoms ones.

I finally had to peek inside each one to find them all.
