    Default [Idea] Grand Campaign + Kingdoms

    I know that is many mods for Medieval II: Total War. But not all have what I expect. In last days I come back to play of Medieval 2, and think about idea to put Norawy and Lithuania from Kingdsoms into Grand Campaign from standard game. I mainly play Poland so pogan Lithuania in Vilnus on east and Norway on sea could give gameplay challange.

    I know that is Kingdoms Grand Campaign Mod but for me have to much junk from authors, I want pure gameplay only with added this two factions. How to make it in easy way, any copy and paste trick plus type a line in command?

    Firstly, welcome to the forums. It's always great to see new members join the TWC

    Secondly, yes, it is entirely possible to add only Lithuania and Norway to the Grand Campaign. What I suggest is that you look around the mod workshop at tutorials that tell you how to add/edit factions; units and how to modify faction banners and the such.

    Mainly Id like to know how in easy way copy what I need from Kingdoms addon - all about Lithuania troops, buildings etc and put it into standard Medieval II campaign giving new faction there province with Vilnus. Mainly in tutorials I found how to use standard units from other faction (already in basic game) to create new faction as the base. And I dont know how to start on two diffrent games like main game and addon and marge what I need.

    Well, if you unpack the "teutonic" campaign, then all of the models, ui, and text that you need will be available. Apply what you learn about converting one unit to another faction as well as learning how to add unit entries. That will be your primary concern before anything else. Learning how to read the "battle_models.modeldb" as well as "export_descr_unit.txt" will also be vital to your mod.
