Recently reinstalled MTW and VI for a bit of a laugh and have very quickly got completely sucked in by it all over again. Not bad for an 8(?) year old game!
I remember half the fun of the game being the ease of simple modding and I've tried making a couple of very small changes but seem to have hit a really weird bug. If I make any changes to the startpos files (and possibly others - i haven't completely tested) the game doubles the production time values for all units, for all factions and for all start periods including those I haven't touched ...
Has anyone else come across this and is there a way around it? I'm running on win7 x64 and its running perfectly apart from this.
