Graphics glitch

I just b ought Shogun 2 and I was having fun until I began to notice a very game breaking graphics glitch for my computer. Whenever i play a battle, the blue sky always appears as black... and the water is always totally translucent. Has anyone else had this very annoying problem? I am not sure what the deal is because my computer can handle the game on ultra settings. Does anyone think this means I probably need to update my drivers?

amebreaking i think not, you cant get past some glitched colours?

It does sound like a driver issue; perhaps its worth googling (or looking in the technical help section) which drivers for your GPU are the best for shogun 2, its not always the latest set, so best to check first. Chances are that the upcoming patch will work best with the drivers that are newest at the time of patching.

are you using shader 3 on low? if yes then change it on high and if this isnt working then update your gfx driver . good luck

I had the same problems except for black sky. I looked around various forums and the answer for me was to update the sound driver and fiddle about with the Catalyst control (ATI radeon 6800 series) and everything runs fine in ultra mode now. It certainly makes a big difference when it looks right. Ships floating in the air was terrible.
