Pergamon and its lack of standard phalangites

Shouldn't Pergamon have standard phalangites, between its levy and elite types? Is this intentional for balance reasons or was it simply overlooked?
(If yes ashes on my head, i was one of the beta testers )

I've made allied phalangites recruitable in my campaign. They seem to fit in quite nicely with their macedonian sun shield blazon.

I noticed that as well, never really bothered me because I hate using phalangites. Can never seem to get them to hold a line.

It was something that keravnos (our greek historian) did intentionally as pergamon was likely to have been more hoplite based.

how can i make allied phalangites recruitable with pergamun ........ enen i feel like they should have a medium phalangite unit, well obviously its unhistorical as tone mentioned but still it would make fun playing as they dont have any horse archers too
