How often do you auto-resolve battles in your campaign?
Myself I really enjoy the battles so I went with the second option. I only auto if I outnumber the enemy by a very large amount.
NEVER!!!
Very rarely. I only auto resolve if its very one sided.
50/50
More often then not. I usually only play REALLY important battles.
I almost always auto-resolve.

Mostly when the bar is more than 3 quarters of a way in my favour.
And some siege battles I;m affraid to mess up/.
A battle that isn't particulary exiting, I'll likely autoresolve. I gave the 50/50 awnser but in truth since so many one-sided battles can happen it's probably more.
Whenever it's close or I need all the advantage I can get, I draw my sword and charge in personally.
En Romanos, rerum dominos, gentemque togatam!
One sided (my doom stack attacking level 1 castle) battles I'll AR - usually I like to fight all my battles though.
Only if it's a complete mismatch - I love the battles.
OPEN BATTLEFIELD CAPTURE POINTS AND IMPACT PUFFS HAVE GOT TO GO!
REVERT INFANTRY THROWING PILAE TO ROME TW'S SYSTEM AS IT WAS PERFECT!

Usually just on one-sided sieges and such. The whole ninja grappling hook ruins the historical feel for me.
I play Shogun 2 on VH
-Sun Tzu

I've never even SEEN a battlefield ninja troop.
Can't be hard to avoid that eh?

I'll play anything close, and auto anything which has odds greater than 3:1
I've always, always, always auto-resolved battles in TW in which I have a multi-stack force. I can't stand the idea of having to lose my first army in order to get reinforcements. Other than that, I'll autoresolve any battles that seems easily winnable. If it requires no effort, it's not worth my time, really.
believe in nothing.
Never!
No matter the odds, I always fight every battle.

Because I'm playing on normal, I tend to auto-resolve when the battle is definitely in my favor. I'll fight close battles (because I don't want heavy losses) and battles where it's a definitive loss, but the repercussions would be great. IE, if the enemy was going to take a province, but I didn't have reinforcements in the area, I would fight the losing battle to try and kill as many as possible to make it easier to win the province back.
Mostly when I'm taking castles - evenly depletes my forces rather than if I did it and getting one unit of Yaris wiped out.
Plus against retainers, there's no loss of life when my comp takes over![]()
I only auto-resolve "finish off battles" you know like when you just fought a big battle but like 3 quarter strength Ashigaru make it away.
Big battles I fight because obviously I want to use my human skill and not take unnecessary losses.
Small battles I fight because it's not so frantic and I can zoom in more and enjoy the sick graphics and animations.
