[PENDING] The Renaissance

I just thought that one based on ren France, England, Italy, Spain, and Germany (basicaly a map with just western europe on it) would be fun. It would start in 1600 (a bit late, I know), and it would be historically semiaccurate in the beginning, but would change as the game goes on. You can be anything from a peasant to a lord, from a bandit to a musketteer, and you can rise in the ranks from whatever you are to whatever your status allows.

This is basically what GSTK is and will be in a few month or a years or so

I don't want to wait a few months or a year. Also, GSTK is medieval, and this is 1600s WE.

Aggs, hosting a forum RPG is a far cry from hosting an IH - there's way more to manage, way more to think about... there's just way, way more to do. I'd hold off on proposing an RPG until you've got a couple successful IHs under your belt. Why not make a renaissance IH instead?

The lad is in the IH community - I don't need anyone to tell me what his qualifications are, as I'm well aware that he's a great, intelligent player. WR is nothing like a TWC RPG - it's just different. There's nothing insulting about it - I think Aggs should just flex his creative muscles at IH before trying an RPG here. There is way, way, way more going on behind the scenes than you realize.

your right wr is way more than a rpg, we combine rpg's with strategy. Also he was in the wr community from the start and then went IH when we temporarily went inactive but he's hosted some games. I've played rpgs here and they aren't difficult.

the wr going on now is the permanent wr for now. No other wr is planned on being casted. Me priscy and the vets want to finish this wr after years of playing! itll never get old because tech is always advancing!

Actually... I started with IH then tried WR because Doyler recruited me and it looked fun...
Anyhow, I see your advice Kip, and thanks. Freddy, I see what you mean, but it must be hard to do from what I've seen, so I'm not going to do it. Also, stop fighting you two! Kip is right, I did start with IH, but I also play WR because both are fun. Now quit it!
