Machine gun ideas

Just a suggestion, but what if you guys made two kinds of machine gun types? For example, at the moment, the only way machine guns have been implemented is with a modified puckle gun. This would suit the heavy machine guns rather well, but what about a mobile version? I.E. a rapid firing version of the snipers with the LMG model instead of sniper rifles? This would give the mod a bit of variety in my opinion, as it would allow machine guns to go offensive. Im not a complete genius when it comes to military weapons and their history, so correct me if im wrong.
I believe it would go something like this;

The Americans could be a unit unique to the Anglo-French, with the machine guns from the respective nations. Something close to the current representation of the Canadians, Australians, Morroccans, and the Latvians in an Entente campaign. Just a suggestion

We will add light mgs at some point but currently we are working on bigger things

ok, there is an issue with getting new guns in, arty and heavy mgs and such are fine but getting new gun models that the soldiers hold, which is how the light mgs will work, is not possible at this time...

Romanians used the French Hotchkiss, from what I know. Need more info about what model exactly, but I think it was the M1914 one

1) Make it an infantry weapon, one per soldier, and have it function like the current SMG
2) Use the current puckle gun, but make it mobile, with two men per gun as I believe is historical.

I have tried that later, its extremely buggy. And without models to use, the former option will be pretty much a clone of the SMGs.

You guys could bolster the Rate of Fire, increase accuracy (just a hair) and decrease the numbers to like 12 or 18 per unit. Would that be better? [for the modified SMG unit]
