Civitates are the future moderators and staff members of TWC and as such should always act with dignity and respect for others, regardless of rank. Although a Civitate has little actual power in comparision to those of higher rank, he/she still has a very important job inside TWC. He/She should be active in the Curia, so that old and new laws alike are found to be helpful to the users of TWC as quoted from Sulla's "How to Become A Civitate" thread:"They have, and should not be reluctant to use, the power to appeal any decision and have it heard by the members of their class, the Civitates." Civitates should also participate in the Curia to make sure that the right people are voted on and are promoted to higher rankings. That being said, I feel that I could be a good contribution to TWC, because I do play all the games focused on here, so I am able to help out members with questions. I also try to act with great respect towards others and their views in attempt to help both myself and others understand another's view, thereby making it easier to discuss a topic. Just those two contributions alone are the most important, as they are the reason TWC was made. However, today they aren't only about those things. Today's TWC has sub-forums for many games and even more mods. We at TWC need mature and intellectual memebers to keep those sub-forums serving their purpose. For that purpose we have moderators, but in their absence, who should pick up the reins and keep the thread on topic? The Civitates. While Civitates cannot delete posts or close threads, they can bring the thread back on topic by posting well. This is one thing that I have seen done in TWC and I will do even if I am not voted into the ranks of the Civitates. However, it is with great pleasure I thank you all for allowing me this opportunity to become a selected member of TWC.
