How do you get EXRM to work without BI?

I have played EXRM without BI some time ago. But i don't know how i got it to work without it. Does anyone know how to get it to work with just rome total war 1.5 and with EXRM 4.0 be able to work without BI?

Chances are 4.0 will require BI. However, development has shown me that the horde function is not essential and so you should be able to get 4.0 working without BI. You will just lose the horde option for the Galatians and Sarmatians.
