Does any1 here no how to read these files?

I no how to open them and view but i don't have the knowledge to beable to read it and see what my computer was doing at the time of the crash.

My computer crashes on all three TW games
Empire
napoleon
and now Shogun 2.

I no that shogun 2 has some issues to sort out, but i'm guessing that maybe all three games are being effected by something that my computer is doing.
