    Default How do i set general as Admiral?

    I tried putting them into the ship and the system take it as a passenger instead of as admiral.

    You only need them to be on the ship before they count as admiral. They'll start gaining XP for battles and sometimes get special naval retainers.

    I've been thinking about this - trade routes and stopping/enabling troop transports aside, is it worth having an admiral? I'd like to think so, but I don't 'get' the naval part of shoggy 2 yet

    It's very much worth it to have an Admiral, especially if you specialize the general with the Admiral traits.

    Down side, it sucks losing them even more in a naval battle for some reason, especially if you auto resolved it.
