    Default Computer won't start

So I got all the parts I ordered from the other thread (thanks to all who helped me pick out the right stuff again), and bravely tried to put it together in the computer, thought I connected everything fine.... But it starts to a black screen, the same way it would be if the monitor wasn't even plugged into the computer. So no response.

I can i start the computer with the front power button, but I can only turn it off by flipping the back switch, even if I hold down the power button for a good while it won't turn off.

And the DVD drive doesn't even respond, green light doesn't go on, doesn't open up.

So I'm at a complete loss and frustrated as all hell, the parts are
ASUS M4A87TD EVO AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
    XFX HD-577A-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5
    AMD Athlon II X4 640 Propus 3.0GHz Quad-Core
    4GB DDR3

And the PSU says "Total Power; 450. MAX POWER=575"

Is the power supply just not strong enough?
I have no idea, any help is welcome, I've been at this for a few hours. I can provide any pictures if they'd help in some way.

All the fans are running, the light on the mobo is on, so it has power. No beeping or anything like that.
Computers confuse and infuriate me sometimes....(disregard the fact that this is 99% likely an error of mine)

*Ugh, this was meant to be an edit.

Did you connect the case button wires to the correct motherboard pins? They would look something like this:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Your motherboard manual usually comes with instructions as to what goes where.

    To my knowledge....I got it all lined up correctly, I think. I seem to have two extra little GND plug things that don't fit anwhere when it comes to the USB connectors. When it comes to the system panel I have the following;
    Spoiler for System Panel Connector

Both the USB and System Panel connects have those little boxes you plug em into, and then you plug em into the motherboard. Can't find a set of plug things that have speaker or anything like that on em, so nothin to go there.

I've got the PDF version of my mobo's manual, but it won't let me upload it because it's over 1MB :/
