Default Do liberated factions gain the bonuses of the original faction?

    Hey,

I was playing in my Hattori campaign and my allies, the Takeda were destroyed by the Uesugi. Later in my campaign, when I was expanding in that direction, I took the old Takeda capital. I decided to liberate it to get my allies back and was wondering if they still get their bonuses, the advanced cavalry, as a liberated faction. I tried to see if they had advanced cavalry but they didn't have any cavalry.

So for all the major factions, If they die and are liberated, do they still get their original bonuses or are they considered completely different factions with the same banner/name?

    Thanks

I'd think that they would because the bonuses are clan specific. So wether it was un-defeated Takeda or several times resurrected Takeda it shouldn't matter

They are the same factions, in game terms. The only thing that has changed is their diplomatic stance.
