Back when I played RS2, I noticed a "bug" or an exploit that could be used when it came to senatorial offices. As you probably know, the ancillary 'Pontifex Maximus' is tradeable(means you can give it to another character of familiy member/general status(not agents)). When my Pontifex Maximus got very old, I gave the retinue to his governor subistute so that the retinue wouldn't go into the grave together with him(I do this with every decent ancillary when a character is of old age and in the risk zone of dying). However, after giving the ancillary I ended the turn, then when I checked up on the character who had recieved the ancillary, it was still there - now came the unexpected stuff; when I then checked up on the one who gave the retinue, he also had it again(even though it disappeared after I gave it in the previous turn). I tested this with another governor, I mean I repeated the process of giving away the retinue to this new governor - same thing happened, it ended with pretty much all of Italy having a governor with the 'Pontifex Maximus' retinue.
I've got no idea why I didn't report this and for that I'm sorry. Guess I got a tad frustrated when my RS2 stopped working despite multiple reinstalls and so forth, thus I forgot about it.
I'm not sure if this hasn't been fixed, since I'm not updated when it comes to RS2, however if it is - then it should be taken care of fairly quickly before every family member has all the offices.
I'll post a link in the 'bug forum' so that they can see this comment.
