Default How to change the starting date?

    Dear all,

I was enjoying my camping last night as I was playing with the Shizomu until I realized I only got 3 more years to go and I only had 8-9 provinces. I am personally in favor of slowly advancing and slowly growing. However the game, forced me to rapidly advance and I hated it.

I remember in MTW2 all what we had to do is to open a notepad file and change the date. What about Shogun total war 2?

    I wish I knew...the game it´s a race against the time.

8 or 9 provinces? what campaign length? short, medium, long, or domination? I beat my domination on hard with 40 turns to spare. Admittedly, I moved very fast.

You know I somewhat suck at the game althoght I am doing better and one of the things I think that is really important to speed up your game is efficiency I was reading other posts and the best way I think to speed your game up is to get alot more agents involved and fight cities of rebels don't start wars because this not only develops great agents but it also allows you to travel with your navy and take one things you need like because your not at war with anyone so everyone likes you. Grab the two provinces that speed up your research as well as grabbing maybe iron and stone or blacksmith province my point is be specific this strategy allows you to grab stone and gold mines research at twice the speed and well right now I have only 10 provinces but I have 4 citadels around kyoto and am about to take shogun with tons of time left versus where I was 3 nights ago which is exactly the same spot you were in. try that I bet you have a whole new appreciation for the game.
