Just bought the game...and played as Hoito or something like that
    BUt i must ask:

    WHERE ARE THE NAVAL INVASIONS?

I read that if you attack with an navy with an amry on it ,an coastal city the enemyes will fight you on the beach or something like that...but instead it got me dirrectly to the castle...

    am i doing something wrong?

Yeah apparantly it is just normal castle sieges, no beaches involved at all even though they said "fight a naval battle, then directly without pause, continue to land on the beach with your troops and siege the castle".
I suppose they really "meant" the beach in the campaign map.
    So yeah, normal siege.

They have said from the very beginning that there won't be any combined naval and land battles. Just to clarify this.

They did initially say they would implement this. They later on decided (wisely) it wasn't working and thus shouldn't put it in. It came up in one of the videos showing a demonstration by Mike Simpson if I recall correctly.

This, the feature was cancelled months before release as they couldn't get it working properly.

    Just had one.

Playing as Date, Imagawa supported an ally. Our borders were nowhere near eachother. A few turns later he drops a nice full stack near an undefended town.

I should be cheering for what the CAI did but still seems like a fail anyway..

I actually think it worked okay that time.

It didn;t declare war on me, it helped his ally.

There are naval invasions. As Oda I got invaded by that minor clan(!) (next to tokugawa, forgot the name). They landed a half stack next to my capital on the beach.
