My path for the game is C:\Games\Medieval II Total War. What is yours?

Right-click the icon, click properties, and using the pic to go by, what does it say in Target?

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\Launcher.exe"

Have you installed the latest .NET drivers for that system? Try running a Windows update. The launcher has had problems for a very long time and could cause some problems with Windows Explorer if it isn't upgraded. You could also bypass the launcher and run the .exe from the M2 folder by itself. Just FYI - the M2 .exe is executable and stand-alone but the Kingdoms .exe is not. To run a Kingdoms campaign you'll need to link a shortcut to the mod folders. Good luck!

I don't know where you're downloading Kingdoms from but be aware that the installer should install the necessary shortcuts to the four campaigns automatically. As for the Launcher bypass - make that your default instead and save yourself the trouble. The Launcher has been wonky for a very long time and no resources will ever be invested by CA to fix it ever from here on out. Just stick to launching the game from the .exe and be done with it. Good luck!

PS: Now that I think of it some mods may use the launcher. This may be an issue to look up in the Modders section just in case. Good luck!
