Sound off when forwarding speed

I see that,like in ETW and so on,the sound is getting muted,not all,but most,when forwarding the speed in battles.
Does it depend on my soundcard or is this not an option?I miss like in Medieval 2 ,that the sound of warbattles is on!

To my knowledge, the sound cuts off when you fast forward or do slow-mo. I wouldn't worry about your sound card, unless someone says otherwise. I have the sound blaster x-fi Titanium, a good card, and the sounds are muted when i do any none standard speed. I hope this helped.

p.s. I imagine that to replicate the sounds, they'd have to be slow for slow-mo, and really chimpmunk-esque when fast forwarding...so sounds are muted.

it´s sad,because it works fine in Medieval 2 e.g
