    This is great work SV + rep!!!!!!! this mod is shaping up very beautifully. So is there still a lot of work to do? Keep it up, and no rush, just curious as to the status of things. It seems you and RB are working very well and efficiently together!

    exactly
    matched knights for 1350-1450: 3 done, France, HRE, England.
    ones for 1150-1330: England(Hamilton's knights)
    Serbia have yet his upgraded knights for 1350(phoenix's Velmozes)

    The Feudal reskin affects all factions that use them. They are using a new model based on the last Siculo-Norman upgrade I posted in main Preview Thread.

    But why Wrocław (Wrocislaw) is in 1080y rebelious? I mean it obviously belonged to Poland (and was populated by Poles). Also the boarder of Silesia province (Wrocislaw) should be moved much more toward west (it would be nice to add Oder river and place the border on it). Then in 1080y (and for the next almost 150years) Toruń didn't even exist. Instead of Toruń I suggest Gdańsk. Also it would be desirable to add Poznań settlement which was the capital of Greater Poland province - the one where Polish state was born.

    Patience. We haven't even previewed the map and talked about the many features of it. . it is no where near done, this is a stop gap for now till i implement my full system. wait for the finished product before we make recommendations.

    HOw is the progress going here, it has been pretty quiet. Do you guys think it is realistic to expect a summer release?

    in the 4.0 release on the campaign map will there be more space between the cities and regions be bigger because i find the vanilla or the map in this mod a bit crowded. you could use the map tht is in the Regions and Provinces Mod. its just a suggestion.

    This mod, after the fixes done has a historically accurate map at last, so don't change it!

    Great to see that there is a 4.0 Version coming, really looking forward to this. Is there any chance of getting a little update? Its been quite a while since the last progress-update (almost two months I think). No need to rush, this huge masterpiece needs time, but I am just curious how things are going.

    So once again...how is the work going? In March it seemed like 4.0 was almost ready for release, and then it was quiet for a very long time regarding 4.0. I am not demanding a release date, or for the mod to be released, just curious as to where SV is on the work, and if there are problems, bugs glitches that have been plaguing the mod and delaying it or is it just RL. I respect your work a lot, and respect the fact that RL can be quiet demanding at times and that you do this for free...just a curious fan who loves your work!

    Exactly right.

    When SV started with 4.0, he just wanted to clean up all 3.3 known bugs and replace vanilla units. Now I am a bit confused as to where the mod is heading to.

    See Husker's map thread - he's just posted his (excellent) work, but there are already half a dozen fans - mostly from the Balkan area - overwhelming him with unreasonable, conflicting requests.

    I am Italian. If I were to ask the team for "absolute realism" in, say, the main (late) campaign, I'd have to ask for some 6-7 new Italian factions and lord knows how many extra regions - not to mention new units ! But that would be crazy - I don't want to see the village of my ancestors in Chivalry, why should I ?

    I suspect most of this year's lack of visibility has to do with a sort of excessive attention to undue requests by fans who've been probably carried away by national pride.

    My (unrequested) advice to the team is: stop listening to us ! Stick to plans, don't change 4.0 content on the fly and deliver the mod - everybody will be happy ! For sure, I will be happiest.

    Agreed!! I did not know such a thing was going on. I think it is rather disrespectful of people to constantly be making demands. If they feel that strongly about something they should make their own mod (granted it would be a very unbalanced one). As Morfans said, just do what you set out to do and ignore the nationalistic demands of egoic fans. You have other fans who love your work and understand the efforts you put into it and appreciate it!

    hey WarlordZ, SV is not available for modding actually, but no worry, the mod will be released anyway.
    Our secret member and myself are even working for what we're appointed.

    Your work is appreciated. Ever since I started playing SV I haven't been able to play any other medieval mod so I just refresh this part of the forum everyday.

    Thanks for the update Rus Bey. Yeah, I figured SV was not working on it b/c he has not been around for a while now. Thanks for keeping up the great work to you and the secret member! (I too am intrigued as to the identity of this mysterious personality)

    Franco-italian and same thinking, but admit then the italian map is improvable about gameplay, more stone forts, guelf/gibelin complex system..., isn't?
    Same if I'm focused about italian units, believe me only 2 had been added to the rosters(Spadaccini and Arcieri Pesanti), and its sharable as french mercenaries as I do know them from french sources.
    Anyway the rosters are such shared, between some very unic units(bodyguards, elites, tribal warriors), and many others which are "generics"(I use this term with some reservs, even)

    Cheers and I hope then SV have already your excellent new byzantine units
