I have been following this mod for a long time. I am looking forward to the next version. Several weeks ago it seemed like a new version would be released very soon, however there has been very little news and information on this. I am not being pushy and asking for a release, just some information on the progress of the mod. Keep up the great work!
SV is working hard about a certain steppic faction, actually, the whole basic models are Rusichi/BC/Disgruntled Goats, its a sensible matter because we can't release a mod with incoherent rosters...
You see my point? We can't mix our vanilla Poland/Danmark with the excellent mentionned basic models.
Lord Hamilton(formely frenchy) advised us with a very nice model for our northern guys(english/french/germans...etc), so I've now a nice model to texture for my late stages.
I can understand your impatience, but badly, the single solution should be to have 10 texturers
I suggest to scan what there is in the following spoiler, to watch how will look the gothic stages in SV4.0.(look the faces)
(and the presented units are not finished)

At the moment, RL has me very busy. I am still working even though I haven't had much time for the forum.
Some of the latest revision:
- Completely revised the Khazars. All new units, models, and revised recruitment. The Middle Eastern units are also now replaced by proper units (except in the middle east).
- Add Sputnik's new campaign and battle music.
- We are very close to a complete remodeling & reskinning of the mod. There are very few units using vanilla models left.
- Still working on integrating Rus-Bey's units, work goes very well here. We are still working on the textures for the 1300 - 1400's "Chivalric" type knights.
- The major new addition was a complete revision of the campaign map. With much more historical borders, etc... I meant to do a surprise preview, but RL got in the way (I will still try to get a preview together when things slow down)
- All new faction symbols for the Muslim factions. They are now round, after the BC fashion.
- Incorporated Magyarmod models for Hungary.
To do:
- Faction symbols for the Darkages. Abbassids, Pechenegs, Navarra, Ummayyads, etc...
- Continuing integration of Rus-Bey's work.
- Addition of French/Hamilton's Feudal Knights, when they are released.
Time permitting (most likely in the follow-up patch):
- Earlier Darkage Campaign
- Later Renaissance Campaign
So much has changed in the mod, it is hard to put it all into words....

Rus and SV your responses are much appreciated as is your work. it all looks and sounds great
pleas understand I did not ask for a release at all, just an update. I would love to see the mod in its final glory and not in a premature state...and trust me, we all know the demands of RL. No rush my friends, just an update every once in a while to keep us informed on the progress is appreciated. And release the mod whenever you feel it is ready. Keep upt he great work and thank you
now i am off to play the witcher II!
One of very few mods that are "must-have" on my list. Waiting patiently for the new release - it is definitely worth it!

The reskinning of the Scottish Highlander type units is finished for now. I used Rus-Bey's Highland Nobles as a base for the reskinning. They will be updated if RB has any more fits of creatiivity in this area
The vanilla units were just pain ugly compared to RB's work. Looking at them side by side...there is just no comparison!

That sounds great SV!! can't wait to try this mod out! Keep up the great work. You and RB are heaven sent to the modding community!
thanks for your kind words mate, myself since weeks I started to enjoy really my predilection's matter. I found a good working system, as I explained to SV, to put in-game new models(Rusichi) but using various existant textures. What can save some hours of works.
example: New faced Italian MilitiaUG1 against new faced generic peasants, time frame 1350 and more:
(Note: all the body parts are now Rusichi's arranged)

Amazing news! Thank you.
I survived the Mayan Apocalypse 12/21/12
You're welcome.
I just completed a placeholder remodeling/reskinning of the Feudal and Dismounted Feudal Knights, Merchant Cavalry, and Italian Merchant Cavalry. They are based on Lord Calidor's work.
This will do until Lord Hamilton's Feudals are released.

Oh yea, +REP 4 the addition of Bohemian faction. You're very talented @ adding all the "smaller historical factions" and still representing them and the more mainstream factions as well. Very balanced.![]()
