People leaving a game/Dropping not resulting in a win?

Anyone else getting this? A trend I've begun to see lately is that in games I win, the opponent will drop out with the message, oh lets say

Hiro Zatochi has left the game.

That

dropped the game and once I reached the statistics screen, I was given neither experience, tokens or even the province. What's up with this? Why is there not even such a basic protection as douchebaggery bad losers in the game? ALT - F4 or Plugging out the cable shouldn't let you escape a loss, or even worse, derive me of my win!

Yeah happened to me also. You have to wait for them to fix the DC bug then we will know exactly who is and who isnt a 6 year-old brat. Dont know why they even bother actually, its not like win/loss ration is registered properly, old habits I suppose.

For me the ratio has been working pretty well as of late, but it is sour that I went through all that trouble beating that guy (it was a hard battle, but I came out on top when I did the good ol' shoot down his general) and then he just plugged it.

Bleh.

One would think that after like a dozen Total War Games, it'd be a basic feature.

I mean I know the Dishonorable Coward trait was supposed to stop that

from happening, but OOPS- EVERYONE HAS IT.

Yeah like I said the DC trait should be fixed within a week but until then I guess try not to win :S

Went online today for the first time. Played 4 drop ins, got 4 wins but all my opponents dropped out!

Pretty lame, indeed. Also lame, when I lost (valiantly lost 2 battles only so far), I still got skill pointz and took the regions!!!

Getting the region is a bug but receiving skill points for a loss is good because it should endorse finishing the battle, that is why is it so illogical that someone would go all the trouble to plug-out his internet cord I mean damn...you cant be such a child...check out the current shogun on the ladder he has win/loss 94/0 tell me how its possible to win 94 matches without A SINGLE loss common that is just impossible as soon as they fix DC bug he is going down as fast as Oda in the campaign map...
