    pelekyphoroi are amongst the strongest, also some of the templar units like the 37 armour dismounted teutonic knights

    I just fought pelekyphoroi against JHI in a custom battle... and the janissaries were destroyed. They would be very dangerous if given a pike attribute ofc

    lets dont talk about politics its a game forum.

    i dont remember about vs case.but as far as i remember jhi was best in my blackislam submod.but i thought i made turks little overpowered there.

    these must be the best soldiers in version 2.02.

    sugdian inf are very strong yes. I think Georgian heavy inf units shall be more powerful

    I am not sure about the stats. But they are in the top5 strongest units.

    I basically held a Unit vs Unit match off and it definitely varies from BC1 to BC2.

    Also it's not always a definite outcome I've done rematches which came out as different results.

    Abna Infantry (Caliphate) is the Strongest, just try it Vs the other (non cavalry) unit with the latest EDU
    Mamluk Tabardariyya often defeated by East Roman Empire Strongest Axe wielder Unit (I forget it's name, pelekyphoroi if i'm not wrong) but they are (Mamluk Tabardariyya) outnumbered I don't know if they fight in the same number, but still as a unit Abna Infantry (Caliphate) is the Strongest

    i changed the EDU myself. axemen like pelekyphoroi (or how it is written) and dismounted templar knights, should wield permanent 2handed axes imo. So i changed it to that. I fought many battles with the templars and they always won. I got no proof sadly
