How will this fair?

Thinking about getting this game, the demo ran ok on medium/low settings but had low shader which made my water green and the landscape look well rubbish, i have posted my dxdiag i am thinking on getting ATI 6550/70 but is it worth it an how well wud it run with my processor?

Phenom 8550 and a 9400GT are definately below the minimum requirements. Your not going to enjoy Shogun 2 very much, if at all. Also a 6550/70 is very weak as well.

You seem to be on a budget, so I can recommend something along the lines of...

Video card: ATI HD6850. There under $200. But if thats to much, a GTX 460 is around $150 or so. And if you wanna go lower, a ATI HD 5770 will do fine as well.

HD 6850, GTX 460 or HD 5770 are my recommendations for a mid-range card.

Processor: I'm gonna go ahead and recommend the CPU I have. AMD Phenom 2 555 Dual core. It's $80 and the best dual core available for under $100. If you can go higher then try a Phenom II Quad Core 900 series, like a 925 which is like $125. But games don't scale particular way to multi-core, so I would say just grab the same CPU I have. Dual core's are still relevant these days.

Just make sure your power supplys at least a solid 450Watt bare minimum and make sure your motherboard supports AM3 processors.
