Have been waiting patiently for this supposed new patch, but the guy is rippin me off.

Lookin at the computer screen wondering where my new patch is gonna come but never arrives.

This guy is a crim and should be charged with breaking the law. My human rights have been violated.

Really man? The amount of work these gentlemen have put in to this mod not including a tragic passing and you can't have some patience?

Im sure that lots of work is being done in their free time because none of the developers are getting paid.

Patience is a virtue that more people need.....

Yeah mate, you need to lighten up a bit. The team has been working hard on this mod for ages and i believe they deserve a rest, and with that attitude and the way you posted you are asking for a flame war

Patiently ? ...really ?...Dont know why but I just had the impression that you are the other sort of customer...ya know..the annoying type...

Ever thought about doin something else rahter thain looking at the screen waiting for something which will take at least another month (or even more) or so ?..There are better ways of waisting your time...

You have obviously no clue about the massive amount of work involved to rewrite entire trait structures and make sure it will work after that without constant CTDs...besides...there might be one the other from the Team who has a real life too and can not spent unlimited time on this project...

OMG i can't believe you are serious! I am sure everyone would like the patch to come out soon, though the people who have created this wonderful and far better Rome experience should be given nothing but praise and credit for producing what is bascily a free but amazing game! Not to mention it is all done unpaid and in their free time! Besides if the patch was released unfinished or not working correctly i am sure some members of the community would be in uproar and forever complaining. As it stands the game works well and the new patch can only improve what is already the best game centred around antiquity!

The developers should never have to be held account to anybody, more often then not the forums are used as a place to complain, which is unfair. I hereby declare all negative comments, feedback and reviews to be null and void.

p.s Once again many thanks to the developers of Roma Surrectum 2.

p.p.s When is the patch coming out!!!

@Emperor: in case you are serious, Sire, do you know how many people still play this mod? So how can you call it dead just because they haven't release more patches?

The amount of efforts they put in this mod is already awesome.

I really DO have to respond to this, even though it's closed.

I have committed myself to finishing RS2....which means, finishing a trait and ancillary system that is a lot better than it is now, and fixing any and all of the problems that people have reported and complained about.
I'm also one person...with a few helping with scripting and research...doing a complete overhaul of the traits. It is tiring, tedious work involving long hours, tons of testing, and a lot of research on my own because there just isn't anyone else to do it. I 'could've' just released a Patch to fix the coward trait and the multiple rebellion thing and left it at that....and been at peace for a while. But I don't leave my work unfinished...it's just a personal thing. So yeah...ya gotta wait. Sorry if that bothers people, but that's just the way it is.

Being called a 'criminal' over all of this is just immature. And, it suggests I actually OWE you a Patch. Well let me educate you on this: I don't owe anyone anything. RS2 is an award winning mod, and all the rest that gets done is just out of the goodness of my heart.

dvk901: I'm sure that most people here would want to thank you and the other RSII developers and testers for putting your time into the project and gettng it to where it is today.

Some people are just simply ungrateful and nothing will change that. I'd suggest banning such people from playing RSII (if only that was possible) - now that will teach them a lesson.
