Any tips to motivate me past midgame welcome

It's only been a bit over a week and, testimony to the game (because I've played it so much), I'm starting to get that drop in motivation. You know the one TW gamers, when you've got a campaign won but just can't be bothered spending the few hours it needs to finish it off.

When it happened in ETW and NTW I'd load up "Total Factions" and pick some minor that needed all the help it could get. But we're not there yet.

Maybe I should've got the version that added Hattori? Different enough?

Perhaps its just me. I love that micro manage stage where every build and every unit is a decision. When your faction (or Clan) survival is far from guaranteed. S2TW has helped this quite a bit. But I'm now reaching the tipping point when the decisions are less intricate and would rather just save and start again. It was the same with all the others.

Not the games issue - my issue. But I'd welcome any worthwhile suggestions.

That has happened to me in every total war game no matter how long I;ve been playing it.

I;m more of an early-game kind of guy.

I'm like this with alot of games, like the Paradox games, Civ, TW.

The biggest fun in these games for me is getting level with the big guys.

But when I;m there (6-7 regions) as Oda, It's just like every other campaigngame.

Just play a different game and don't binge on STW2 so much. Set some goals, roleplay something, use only ashigaru from now on, abandon all your provinces except the capitol. Take your whole army and invade the farthest province from you and try to fight your way back without recruiting any more units.

Etc.
