Trade
Hey All
Can someone explain to me how trade works? Specifically what determines if I can trade with another clan.
I'm Chosokabe right now, and I can only trade w 3 partners, 2 sea based and 1 via land route.
Im sure that the other clans might have their trade routes filled, but I'd still like to know what determines whether or not I am qualified to trade.

Re: Trade
Its determined by your own trade routes and their own trade routes. If your the chosokabe your going to need to uprade your trade ports to trade with mainland powers. Its also based on diplomacy and how much they like you.

Re: Trade
Im pretty sure also that when you are trading with some one else via ports and the port town they or you have is taken your trade agreement is broken even though you both may have other unused ports. Has happened to me 4 times in my current campaign, trade partners port town is taken by some random clan and when its my turn 'trade agreement broken', yet i have the ability to try get another one off them right away :/
Getting trade agreements is broken somehow i feel. Crappy little clans with 100+ relations whit me on the ropes i.e. they need money badly, will still refuse to trade with me all the time. often wehn we are allies and or fighting the same enemies too. It seems random.
My advice is to never ever ever ever ever add money to a trade agreement proposal. Quite often they dont last long enough to give you enough returns to break even.
