As topic , Why didnt CA give us the chance to give our allies back thier cities ? I know the game goal is to conquer , but sometimes i still want my allies to be around to block are even bigger enemy next door , and i cant help them if i retake thier city lol

This was a big mistake in CA , transfer or trade off cities was a big thing in the japan waring state era

we already asked this question quite insistently. The only response we got is "the diplomacy is good as it is".

Looks like caring to your allies is not "Historically appropriate" in their book

With the addition of 'Exchange hostages' and 'Arrange marriage', I wonder if it simply (or sadly) boiled down to the diplomacy window not having room for anymore option buttons and they made a cut?

Lol what? they are the ones that create the coding, therefore it is up to them how many diplomacy options are hard coded into the game.

I would much rather be able to give regions than exchange hostages anyway.

It makes no sense to me why CA removed a core feature of the diplomatic process. It's incredibly annoying to have two non-contiguous groups of territory. I can only reinforce my southern holdings by sea, and I have vassal clans that I would rather give my extra territories to than have to defend them myself.

This feature needs to be back in the game, at least for vassals at the minimum. I was playing the Hojo and I made the Imagawa and the Tokugawa vassals and the Tokugawa took a region I had my heart set on to build a huge castle for my northern defense. I really didn't want to attack them so I was trying everything from trying to incite a rebellion to paying the faction that they were at war with large sums of money hoping they would take the region. CA please add this feature back to the game it is still needed, at least enable this feature when dealing with vassals for sanity reasons.

This is probably what the Metsuke are for. You can certainly bribe provinces, and so can the AI. I'm yet to see that actually happen, however.

Uh what? all you can do with metsuke on a good roll is to bribe the settlement to join your clan. There is no way i know of at all to give a province to another clan.

It is stupid.

the comment about the dip window not having enough room with the new functions is humorous and a bit scary - it could be true.
