Mods and achievements
Hey,
After reading that the Devide mod still gives you steam achievements, whats to stop poeple from modding the game to become super easy and playing it on legendary, and gaining that achievement?
Not that Im an achievement whore, just asking is all

Nothing. But whats the point of those achievements anyway?

Re: Mods and achievements
Slightly more motive to complete the game on legendary. If people know you can mod it then there is no point in trying.

Exactly what Yarkis said.
Achievements are worth absolutely nothing. At all. They are of no importance whatsoever. If I had all the time in the world I would still consider trying for utterly meaningless 'steam achievements' to be a complete waste of it.
Unless you could buy games for free with them. Then they would have a use.

Re: Mods and achievements
Exactly, who cares? I unlocked like 8 achievements for Mount and Blade: Warband just by installing and running Blood and Steel mod (a few of the characters you can choose have maxed out stats, boom). I stopped caring about Steam achievements when they linked them to Red Orchestra after being out for TWO YEARS. Two years of nearly 24/7 killing for nothing
lol...

Re: Mods and achievements
Pretty much the same as starting to turn on your vassals and allies to get the XXXX obliterated achievement and then reloading the game.
