    Default replenishing damaged units

Units that have suffered casualties in battle will slowly recoup. This is a slow process. Is there a way to quickly reinforce damaged units besides merger with a separate unit? I haven't found how to do this.

    Thanks

Merging is the only way, unless u move to a province with a faster replinishment rate, like a province with an encampment.

troops recoup much faster (like 3-4 times faster) when they are in a province where they can be trained. also, generals can get retainers and perks that allow for faster replenishment.

Roads help a deal and encampments - encampments are the best building in the game IMO, cheaper recruitment AAAANNNNDDD faster replenishment <3
I remember when I took Kyoto, my damaged armies were healing in a single turn

I really like the replenishment system and the fact that it slow, it is nice, realistic and keeps me from having to micromanage my units. But, as has been said already if you are in a hurry buying a new unit and merging those recruits with your veteran troops is the way to go but it does water the level of experience down.
