The failure of the Crusades and the loss of the Holy Lands has been a bitter blow to many Christians. However a new Crusade had begun in Central Europe to convert the Lithuanian Pagans to Christianity. Though some have joined this Crusade many are preparing to fight against what they consider to be greater enemies. In central Asia the remnants of the Mongol Empire are battling each other and slowly fracturing into smaller and smaller Khanates.

Technology

At the start of this mod Heavy Mail and Lamellar are the strongest armour available to the player, though most of the infantry available wield spears there are more units available that use swords. Cannons are available at the start of this mod, with plate armour and guns becoming available later.

Features

• Every Faction Lead has a unique battle model
• Faction Leader's authority affects every settlement you control (low authority = more disorder and less money).
• The new Faction Leader must be crowned in the original capital or they'll suffer penalties
• Royal buildings allow you to recruit castle units in cities.
• Arqubusters and Musketeers available from their own building, rather than a Royal Barracks.

Why does norway and sweden share colour?

Norway and Sweden had the same King (Magnus IV of Sweden / Magnus VII of Norway) during this time period, so they are represented as the same faction rather than two factions with the same family tree. It wasn't until Haakon VI of Norway took over as king 1355 that Norway and Sweden had separate Kings. Though Haakon did try to become king of both Norway and Sweden.

Then there was the Kalmar Union under Margaret I of Denmark where Denmark, Norway, and Sweden had the same monarch.

This campaign was added in the 2.3 patch, so it's the most recent campaign. Which list are you referring to as I may have forgotten to add it.

oh i see, so they will have capital Oslo then, seeing as Stockhold or any other swedish settlement werent big back then

In this campaign's description it says that "Russia" has 2 factions: Grand Duchy of Kievan Rus and Novgorod Republic. Well, ingame, there are 2 Grand Duchy of Moscow factions.

That's an error I can easily fix.

I can not get this campaign to work. I see the wallpaper loading screen, then it goes back to desktop. I not had trouble starting up any other campaign. Any idea what could cause this?

Uanime5, I recently downloaded the new submods for the Empire Campaign. Now it doesn't work anymore. Do you have the orginal uptodate buildings_descr file for this campaign?

I've attached it to this post. You need to put it in the 'mods\conquest\data\1326' folder.

It does not give me a error log or message. I see the DOS load up screen with all the files copying, then the 4 Khanates load wall paper screen, then the desktop.

BTW that is a bizarre coincidence, Sogdog and I are matched up for posts.

No it's for the 1326 campaign as you're posting in the 1326 thread. Most updates aren't save game compatible so this may be why you're having problems with the 1547 campaign. I don't have an earlier version of any of the files.

Thanks. I can't open the 1547 campaign at all. All the other campaigns open up without a problem

Great mod, but Bulgaria was never a kingdom it was always an Empire. The titles were tsar which means caesar = emperor look it up in google or wikipedia
