    What are the units in the picture you uploaded? I don't recognise the unit card of the unit with the shield in Oslo or the unit with the red shield.

    When you patched to 2.3.3 did you download the 2.2 version, then install the 'conquest patch 2.3.3.exe'?

    Problem solved,everything works fine!I hadn't upgraded to v.2.2(what a fool...)

    When I try to play as any campaign it says "C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\conquest\data\menu\menu_****\
    ++++/++/++ --:--:-- WRONG 5 (0x00000005) opens the target directory C:\Program Files \SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\conquest\data\menu\menu\
    Access denied.
    Wait for 30 seconds"

    after 30 seconds a new shows up. Does anyone know how to fix this and if so please help me!

    When playing as the Mughals, I never got any "Watched by King" or anything like that to increase loyalty. That's what I was talking about way back then. I didn't have that problem with other factions. For "Watched by King" to happen, I imagine the King needs to be crowned... and mine wasn't crowned due to it already having too many ancillaries.

    Default Steam CTD upon launch

    Hi there, I am trying to play this awesome mod with Steam; I already followed some guides on editing the registry to allow for the launcher to recognize eras, and the mod initially launches, I see the hourglass and everything, but then immeditely ctd. Ima at a loss here, any help?

    Are you using Win7? If so you need to disable the 'User Control':

    Now when I try to start an ETC campaign it opens the m2tw loading screen and the it crashes, Please help me!

    Campaign 1547.
    Playing French game crashed every time going into battle against the Russian ,Chinese and the Songhai .
    game also seems to crash when im controlling a lots of regions or sending big troops into a battle in a
    region.
    These happen frequently especially later in the game..i ve done everything im suppose to for the
    game !.

    btw surprise didnt see the faction of Vietnam(Dai Co Viet at the time,i think!) in southeast Asia in the mod..this faction existed and has a long history length as the Chinese and Champa ..i figured it
    should be fun to play them especially going against the Chinese..it ll be great to see that in the next eras version..great game , great mods!.

    Don't know if this is a bug, but can I ask why the Crusader States don't have a family tree in the 1200 campaign?




    EDIT : I've seen people have the king without crown problems. Remember you can give ancillaries to other family members/generals...Not sure if that helps.

    Playing 1230 campaign. No problems whatsoever until I get to the year 1269...going onto 1270.
    My game freezes when it is Portugals turn.
    I am playing single player mode as the Song Dynasty.

    Any idea here?

    In the Crusades (1220) Campaign, the Empire of Nicea can recruit Khwarezem Cavalry in Anatolia from settlements with Large Stone Walls, at least in my campaigns. I am playing 2.3.

    I'm not sure it should be considered a real bug, but I've noticed that most factions in every campaign lacks a family tree... Is it normal? I know it's not the most important thing of the game, but it's quite unpractical, particularly when you have a big faction with lot of generals...

    Kazakh Khanate noble horses do not show.

    Can you upload an error log as this may be due to a faulty unit.

    I has a 30 faction limit, so I couldn't include all the factions I wanted.

    The main reason is that the successor to Amalric II of Jerusalem and John of Brienne weren't relatives, so I couldn't make a family tree.

    I still don't know why the 1230 campaign crashes at 1270. The only thing I can think of is a faulty event but this would mean that the 1200 and 1220 campaigns would also crash in 1270. I can try testing this but I really don't know why this happens.

    You probably shouldn't be able to recruit these units before the Khwarezem Empire is destroyed. I'll fix it in the next release.

    This is normal as factions with non-hereditary rulers wouldn't have the son of their faction leader as their next leader.

    It is possible to go to the settlement/general/agents menu to see where all your general are.

    I get an ctd just starting the mod from the launcher.
    I changed the registry like shown here :

    it says Medieval II has sufferde a fatal error and will exit now.

    Would be great if anybody has a solution, cause i want to play this great looking mod

    I've uploaded a patch which fixes the missing textures for the Kazakh Khanate, makes Bulgaria slightly bigger in 970, fix some missing unit textures in some campaigns, and some unit errors in the 1230 and 1326 campaigns.

    To install download the 'conquest patch 2.3.4.rar', unpack it, and put the all the files and folder in the 'mods\conquest\data' folder (default location 'C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\conquest\data'). Overwrite the existing files.

    Thanks very much. Will this patch get me past 1260 in the 1230 campaign? Is it saved game compatible?
