Hi not sure if anyone's thrown this idea out there but for anyone who's played the romance of the three kingdoms games players can appoint viceroys. These viceroys manage portions of the players empire and can be given objectives to carry out for the player for example hold certain regions, attack certain players or cities, build troops up.This could be a really good addition to the total war gameplay experience imo especially for maybe future games where it will hopefully get bigger and bigger.
