If your GPU or CPU is overclocked and a particular game causes your PC to crash completely, then the problem is heat.
Your system shutting down, is its own way of saying: "Hey I gotta shut down, its gettin hot in here".
Turn your overclocks down until you get better cooling.

MY TEMS ARE FINE jesus... . It's not the problem for SHURE. S2 is only game which cause the problem. My temps are perfectly fine. and i have good cooling... .
I've seen a bunch of people with the same problem so it's not just you.
how did u test for stability with your oc? am running a 4gh oc on cpu and no crashes. in fact i think i have had one crash in the last yr or so![]()
This game heats up my gpu to temps not seen in other games. The cpu doesn't get heated that much.
But gpu overclocks are more tricky to test for stability than cpu because the gpu is stressed differently depending on game... (heavy shader game, memory intensive, etc.).
You are probably not stable on your gpu overclock. And no, furmark and such is not a good test because you don't play furmark. Furmark is good to test the initial stability. But if it doesn't play your games, then it's not stable.
I have an scythe mugen 2 on my cpu and my graphics card(gigabyte hd5850 OC version) has 2 coolers which provide max temps of 60-68 at games like crysis with total silence. I just lowered once again my cpu to 3,5GHz, lowered voltages on it and for RAM too. For about almost 3h session had no crash like before. Seems my PSU is not enough for this game(others like Bad Company 2 runs fine).
Shooters tend to be less stressful on the CPU.
Games like Shogun are so animation and AI heavy, your CPU is really being taxed.

why did you lower your cpu overclock?
if you're 10 hour prime stable on the cpu, then it could be your gpu. even at stock, the gpu could be giving you problems.
and temps explain nothing about the problem. i can have my gpu overclocked and running at 95C and be less stable than running at 65C.
Shogun is amazingly murderous when it comes to systems. Temps are high compared to most games.
what is your psu btw? yeah temps could be an issue but i assume because you are ocing you have aftermarket cooler and are prime stable etc etc.
overclocking will put an extra strain on the psu but if he can play one game overclocked and not the other seems strange. then you would say drivers. but as the op hasnt stated yet his psu or how he has tested for stability we cant narrow down the culprit.
failsafe way is 2 run game at stock clocks and some other benches. if you pass. no issues
then overclock cpu first. test.
then if cpu passes do gpu. that will sort out your issue hopefully.
