Default How do you start a rebellion?

I keep hearing people talk about this.

My monks get like a 5% chance to incite a revolt, so how are you guys making rebellions in enemy lands?

    P.S. I'm Hattori

get a ninja and sabotage there farmlands and they will have a chance of going - food supply and rebel uprising. I do it from time to time.

ive been using monks to insite riots in my christian allies towns, the more you do the more percent youll get, my 4 star monk has 85% with all the arts ect.
the monk starts a rebellion,if the "ally" has a couple of armies, use a ninja to sabotage the army so the rebels can deal with your "allies" and take the town.
once the rebels have the province move in quick with your army and take over.
if your playing on legendary, youll be needing to do this, as a declaration of war can end up as egg in your face, even if some buddies got family in your clan.

i gotta say i played the game on hard but it didnt do anything for me, lots of autoresolve, but legendary is incredibly hard, but what the game is about tbh,
i used my "steadfast ally" who was having trouble with the christian shori clan, and helped them win using ninjas and monks to thwart the shori's attempts to oust
them. they did all the fighting, then pop a rebellion while theyre weak and you can take province after province from your trade partners, allies without even having
    an enemy.

It sounds like you're asking how to make start revolts?

Basically when a religious agent causes enough unrest in a settlement it happens, same as if you have very unhappy settlements you'll get lots of revolts yourself
