The IH Proposal Thread

Sounds alright, but i'm not sure how i would do economic/military rules.

Use the World Realism econ system, it works beautifully, is simple, allows some deviation from history, etc. Also, the military system of 1642 would work, the men would just all be cheaper and not use guns.

I'm considering adapting the old DOM rules - and indeed stealing quite a bit from it. Quests will not just be finding artifacts, but also recruiting Mythological heroes and other things. Faith will be replaced with Prestige, and the Hellenic Gods will be constantly meddling

But that does sound cool though.

I'm working on the IH right now. Not the Trojan one, though BTW, I'm going to need someone to make me a map.

Aw..i thought yours was based on the Trojan War era of Greece by the sound of it.
Will the mythological units be drawn from Age of Mythology?

Probably. I'll be writing up a list. It won't be all of them though, and in some cases the heroes clash, so you can't have both. Say if you've got the Hydra, and then try and recruit Hercules. You won't be able to.

Of course..I figured you would probably only use the Greek mythlogical units, and maybe a Atlantean one or two thrown in there?

Special Ability- A certain percentage of casualties are repaired/rebuilt after a battle.

Can you divide it into provinces? And preferably, these provinces to be fairly small, limited to one city per province.

The first is easier to see the little regions in attica, the second is actually editable. Let me take care of mapping. This is rough, but what do you think?

Pretty good, but i like the Greek Map to be even more..divided? Basically, the provinces are city by city.

It's really hard to do that without making the map gigantic.

What time period does this take place in, exactly? The Trojan war or just the ancient era?

Just Ancient Era, after the Greek Dark Age.

Sounds good! What are you thinking in terms of factions then? I'm tossing together a quick map just in case you want to use it and I need to know what I should put on it.

In essence, you claim a city, and that's your faction.
